Prepare to embark on a journey at Race to the Stones 2024! This legendary race invites runners to run, jog or walk the ancient Ridgeway Path.

Stretching across 100 kilometers of rugged terrain, Race to the Stones is a true test of grit and determination. Starting from the historic Chiltern Hills, participants will navigate a diverse landscape that encompasses rolling hills, dense forests, and serene countryside, all while being surrounded by the echoes of history.

As you push your limits along this ancient pathway, you'll encounter mesmerising landmarks, including Neolithic burial mounds, Iron Age hill forts, and picturesque villages steeped in tradition. 

Throughout the journey, runners will find support at well-stocked aid stations offering hydration, nutrition, and encouragement from a dedicated team of volunteers. Whether you're a seasoned ultra-runner or a first-time participant, the camaraderie and sense of community along the trail are unmatched, forging bonds that last long after the race is over.

The opening and closing of car parks are as follows:

Start:

Parking opens from 05:30 on Saturday 13th July.

Car park closes at 22:30 on Sunday 14th July (after last shuttle arrives with final participants coming from finish venue)


Basecamp:

Car park opens at 10:00 on Saturday 13th July

Car park closes at 22:30 on the 14th July (after last shuttle arrives with final participants coming from Finish venue)


Finish:

Car park opens at 04:00 on Saturday 13th July

Car park closes at 21:00 on Sunday 14th July
